PSEG/UWEWH AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMMING INNOVATORS COLLABORATIVE

Enhancing the learning environments of our youth, supporting cutting-edge and exciting educational initiatives and partnering with expert educational programs is at the heart of the United Way of Essex and West Hudson's (UWEWH) commitment to advancing the common good of youth and families through education.

We endeavor to make an impact in the lives of our youth through the provision of educational programming that invigorates and inspires. As such, with support from the PSEG Foundation UWEWH implemented the PSEG/UWEWH After-school Programming Innovators Collaborative. Through the work of this collaborative, approximately 800 youth in our service area will have access to an assorted set of innovative after-school programs. Our collaborative is comprised of providers that educate our youth through creative approaches like literature, fine arts, robotics, mentoring, multimedia, and rites of passage / cultural programming to name a few.
